The Team at Kindtagious is back with our third edition of The Good News. We keep coming across incredible stories of real people doing really cool things. It drives us a little crazy that you basically have to go digging to find these headlines, while the bad stuff finds you no problem. So we’re flipping that. Every week, we’re sending you three real stories of people doing real good, plus one small thing you can do yourself.
Do you or someone you know have a kind story you’d like to share? We are featuring three stories from our community every week! Reply to this email and let us know! |

“I was running into the grocery store late the other night with my toddler and a huge list, and realized I didn’t have a quarter on me for the carts.
I was literally standing there staring at the carts, trying to figure out if I could somehow carry everything in my arms with a two-year-old.
This older guy walking out saw me struggling, walked right over, and put a quarter in the cart for me. He just smiled and went about his night, but he saved mine.
I’ve started keeping quarters in my car because I want to return the favor.”

“I take the train into the city every day, so my car is always parked in this huge commuter lot. One afternoon it started pouring rain out of nowhere.
As I walked to my car, I saw someone standing by another person’s parked car, with the window rolled down a few inches.
They literally pulled a plastic grocery bag out of their purse and stuffed it over the open window gap so the rain wouldn’t soak the inside, then they left. Thought that was such a cool thing to do for a random stranger.”

“I woke up ridiculously late for work last week and, in a total panic, tried running a hot flat iron through soaking wet hair after I showered. It looked awful. I threw a clip in it and just prayed nobody would look at me.
By 10 AM, everything was going wrong. I spilled coffee on myself, forgot a meeting, and it was just bad. I wanted to crawl under my desk or go home and cry.
Then, a woman from another department walked up, looked at me, and goes, ‘I love that textured updo, what product do you use?’
She was 100% serious. I lost it and told her the truth about my morning. We stood there dying laughing about bad hair days and she completely turned my day around.”
